Nevek is a security company built on responsibility, consistency, and experience earned across New Zealand’s security industry over many years.

Before Nevek existed, our team spent years working in different environments across the country — building real, hands-on experience in what security actually requires day to day. That includes maintaining awareness, staying composed under pressure, and delivering a consistent standard of work no matter the setting.

Our five-person management team brings over 50 years of combined experience across Westfield shopping centres (2003–2009), hospitals and whānau rooms, undercover security, construction and commercial sites, concerts, ports, airports, and government environments.

We’ve worked within established organisations as well as key sites including the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Museum, Wellington Airport, Port of Wellington, and the Fonterra head office. 

Alongside this, many of our team come from second and third-generation security families, where the industry is not new — it’s part of everyday life. That background builds a shared understanding of responsibility, discipline, and the expectations that come with the role.

In late 2025, after years of building experience across the industry, we made the decision to form Nevek. The purpose is clear — to operate a security company that applies that experience properly, maintains structure, and delivers a standard clients can rely on.

Today, Nevek continues to grow with structured teams across Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, working across concerts, live events, commercial sites, rugby clubs, art centres, private security operations, and ongoing contracts throughout New Zealand.

We are fully licensed, registered with the Private Security Personnel Licensing Authority, Site Safe members, and fully covered by public liability insurance.
